Kenwyn Millington | Brand Ambassador & Service Director

Kenwyn Millington, is a son of the soil of the beautiful twin island Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, land of Steelpan and Calypso.

He was exposed to the service industry from early on. At nine years old he was an integral part of his family’s Carnival Band production. Even at that age he knew the importance of customer satisfaction. Late nights were imperative to ensure the masqueraders were satisfied.

He moved to New York City in 2007 on a modelling contract and was afforded the opportunity to expand his horizons and experience a myriad of environments, developing the skill to adapt to changing circumstances and learning to network and make crucial connections along the way. One connection was with Blake Morris.

He joined Mr. Morris’ team in 2008 as a staff member delving again into service and hospitality. Not long afterwards, he was mentored by Mr. Morris. He trained under him and he shared his expertise on service standards. Soon Staffing911 was the talk of the town. Within a few years, he joined the management team as a managing partner.

Fast forward a few years and he joined Ravel Management Group where he held the position of Hospitality Manager. He worked alongside the executive team and managed the operations of their night club, restaurants, ballroom and event space. He assisted with the opening of Profundo Day Club which was, by far, his most challenging undertaking as it was a project that had never been undertaken at the scale. It became known as one of the most sort-after venues during the summer.

His life’s mission is to continue along this growth path, to embrace every opportunity to learn and to develop his skills and to pass on that knowledge whenever he is called upon to.
